PCR was a great project that I really believed in. It’s a non-profit organization that aims to bring the sport of rowing to the city’s underfunded public school system. As a rower myself, I really felt the importance of this project and tried to give them a timeless identity and a clean, simple, and usable site.

Just got back from Boston. Had an awesome NYE/Bachelor party for Ted. We chained a bowling ball to his leg for a couple hours, it was great. Also caught the Winter Classic, Bruins vs. the Flyers. It was a good game, but the Flyers lost.

CT for the weekend

Headed up to GMS to train for the weekend. Hopefully, if things go well this coming week, I will be able to launch the website for a new non-profit organization called Philadelphia City Rowing. I did this site pro bono, and was allowed a lot of creative freedom. From the logo to the site to the blog, I was able to explore ideas and new techniques. I am definitely psyched to have this site drop, and I am even more excited about the progress that PCR has made in a few short weeks.

The Month at sea has taken a huge toll, I have come to find. I came back in terrible shape and then was promptly laid off. I had zero freelance work lined up because, well, I had a job. To ice this cake of misfortune, I found out that the organization I worked for didn’t even put me on the books, meaning no unemployment benefits.

I have 2 sites coming up that I committed to do for free, and I intend to keep those promises, but I am vigorously looking for new clients. Please feel free to shoot me an e-mail about any print or web work you might be considering. Thanks!!
